It is wonderful to hear that from 2015 interns can complete their training in East Gippsland.

Training at the Gippsland Medical School and completing most of my placements in Gippsland I have found Gippsland is a great place to live and work. I have found studying medicine in Gippsland to be a largely positive experience. The exposure to excellent clinical teachers and the really hands on approach has really helped with my clinical acumen. I have found I have been exposed to a wide variety of clinical presentations and have always been extremely well supervised, which is so important in these developmental years.

Living in Gippsland also has many benefits. The Gippsland Lakes system is so accessible and also it is a few just hours drive to the snow. There are also so many lovely small communities to explore on your time off. I feel that anyone who completes their internship in East Gippsland will have a similarly positive experience.

I am happy to be contacted at egau1@student.monash.edu.
